I stayed here for a while and overall, my experience was very mixed. There are definitely some positives—the concierge staff is always friendly and welcoming, the gym is decent, having an in-unit washer and dryer is super convenient, and maintenance usually responds pretty quickly when something needs to be fixed.
However, the downsides really outweigh the perks. The parking gate is broken constantly, sometimes staying down for months at a time. The elevators are unreliable and go out often,... which gets frustrating fast—especially if you live on a higher floor. There’s also no overnight guest parking, which makes it hard for friends or family to visit. My entire first year I had no hot water, and it only slightly improved after I filed a complaint with City Hall. Even after that, there were still cold water issues, especially in the winter. Roaches are a problem too—definitely not unusual in the city, but they could be doing a lot more about it. And for some reason, GPS tends to lead people to the back of the building, so packages sometimes end up at a random house behind the property.
On top of all this, rent goes up about 4% every year. With all the ongoing issues, that kind of increase just doesn’t make sense. If anything, management should be offering some kind of deal or incentive for long-term tenants who continue to renew their leases despite all the problems. As it is, it’s hard to say the price is worth it.

First of all these reviews are fake - no one that has ever lived here would give this place 4 stars. Residents treat the building like a dorm (loud music, parties, etc). Property Managers changed 4 times in ONE YEAR, constant ceiling leaks and random policies from an incompetent staff. ITS A MESS!

Do not waste your money renting here! In the beginning it was nice but the finishes in the apt appear nice but are cheap. They are from IKEA! Hot water constantly out and they seem to be letting anyone move in. But nobody stays. Elevator constantly breaks down or they have to shut it down due to water leaking from the roof into the elevator shaft. Good luck if you live in the 15th floor!Management was great in the beginning but constantly an overturn of people in charge. If you see a great... review it is people from management or their family because there is no way this place can get a great review. Maintenence is a joke they do not know what they are doing.Security is helpful and they do their job.Unless you have money to waste or don't care about where you live don't bother renting here!

Living at Aura 240 has been the worst decision in my entire life. The finish quality are terrible, range broke 3 times, shower head is clogged and moldy, the fire alarm goes off every month and the building has to be evacuated each time. Aside from the negative aspects of living in this building the property manager (TAMER) is very responsive and accommodating for any issue we have had. The security personnel in the building are very friendly as well. The owner for the building clearly doesn’t... care about the tenants in the building.
The hot water has shutoff countless times through out the cold winter months without notice. The landlord claims that he fixed the water heater but it clearly has never been fixed because the hot water kept getting turned off. I have spoken to several tenants in the building and they have the same issue and they can’t wait to move out. Do yourself a Favor and don’t live at AURA 240 or any property owned by Blackstone company.
